As I was exploring the position of my company within its industry, I came across a key article titled 'Managing Communications Systems Is More Effective With Prognosis'. Brian Smits, Director of Strategic Alliances for Integrated Research, talks with Avaya about the focus of IR; the fundamental shifts coming in the communication industry; the technologies believed to have the biggest impact in the next 5 or 10 years etc. I encourage everyone to view this article via the link provided below, as it has given me a much greater understanding of Integrated Research and its industry. Happy reading :-)

Hi Jess!
ReplyDeleteWow! you were lucky to have found such an interesting and simple to read article!
Its interesting to learn that a company like Integrated Research is responsible for such a great performance management program like prognosis. Now I know that you are no expert in the area of prognosis, but do you think that a program like prognosis would be beneficial to an organisation which utilises customer service through something like an online store, and its feedback? In other words would the monitoring of feedback from customers/employees be easily managed by prognosis?
From what I gathered from the article and the video I found on prognosis, it may have the potential, what is your opinion?
Hi Evelyn,
ReplyDeleteYes, it is exciting to learn that IR is responsible for such an innovative program. You raise a very interesting question and I also believe that it may have the potential. I haven't been able to find any articles relating to this or the possibilities. Did you come across anything? If so, could you please provide the link.
Thanks so much for your input, Jess.
I wasnt able to find any links to anything, I was just wanting to understand what your opinion was?
ReplyDeleteHi Evelyn,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reply :-) I also think that Prognosis may have the potential to manage the monitoring of feedback from customers/employees. I thought you raised a really good point and tried looking into it further. I couldn't find any articles/information that discussed this concept, but I thought you may have. IR is very focused on their research and development program, so you never know what may happen in the future :-)
Cheers, Jess.
